ENGLISH FAMILY LAW SERVICE

The English Family Law team deals with all aspects of Family Law including separation and Divorce. Divorce is based on the irretrievable breakdown of the marriage. This must be proven by one or more of five facts:

• Adultery
• Unreasonable behavior of the other party eg violence, excessive drinking, neglect, making excessive sexual demands, keeping the other party unreasonably short of money.
• Living apart for two years and the other party consents to the divorce.
• Living apart for five years (consent of other party not required).
• Desertion by the other party for two years.
